50th Anniversary & Black Label Collections

The collections are a nod to Christine past, present, and future. Each piece – a work of art – is romantic, sensuous, and elegant – an approach that has not changed over the years. The fabrications are still the same, but the styling has modernized and each year, Christine works to find new and beautiful things to ensure she is always evolving and keeping up with the fast pace of the fashion industry. Her attention to detail – a hallmark of her collections – can still be found in her bias cuts, multitude of tiny tucks, delicate handmade roses, and extensive use of lace.

In celebration of this milestone, Christine has created two collections – a 50th Anniversary Collection along with a Black Label Collection – drawing inspiration from the most beloved and iconic pieces over the past five decades. Each re-imagined piece personifies the luxury label’s romantic heritage which began with a deep love for lace and bridal wear and evolved into silk and lace intimates and loungewear.

The 50th Anniversary Collection will have two releases – spring and fall 2023 – and be available both in- store and online. A show-stopping work – available in August – is a peignoir set in a soft, silvery pink silk called Whisper, with lace, silk roses and dainty ties dyed to match for a romantic, antique look. Its robe, complete with train, brings to mind the glamour, drama, and romance of the 1920s.

The Black Label Collection will see the release of be a signature piece, in limited quantities, each month only on the Christine website. Up-coming designs include a heavy, white crepe silk gown with black Chantilly lace – that can double as outwear – something Christine has done long before the current trend of ‘innerwear’ as outer wear. Another dual-purpose piece is a silken-wool robe in a soft peach tone, perfect for stay-at-home lounging or as a light coat for an evening out.
